TRAUMA INFORMED VOICEWORK FOUNDATIONAL FACILITATION TRAINING 2026
The intention of this training to to support the trainee to deepen their connection to their own voice, and build their confidence in leading voice related work. The training will be deeply experiential as well as skills based. The training is to empower you to hold a safe, trauma informed and somatically aware space for working with voice. As part of this, the basis of this work is to be able to journey deeply with your own voice and emotions, so that you have the ground to meet and hold what can get catalysed with voicework.
WHO CAN APPLY:
This training is for professionals (see below) who are passionate about Voice and bringing voicework into a modality they already use.
You need to be:
Trained in a therapeutic modality to work with people, either in facilitation or therapeutic work. Either one to one or group work.
You will need to have your own public liability insurance
Be part of a professional association.
PREREQUISITES: (as well as the above requirements):
Minimum one ‘in person’ weekend with Yasia
Two online one to ones with Yasia to speak about your relationship with your voice, your current voicework practice and to develop one if you dont have one yet.
An ongoing singing practice of some kind (this can also be developed in the one to one session with Yasia)
Qualified dance / movement teacher/ psychotherapist or councillor with some kind of embodiment practice, or be willing to explore embodiment practice.
Up to date insurance and supervision in the current work you are trained in, plus professional body you are affiliated with.
