VOICE WORK TRAINING 2026

TRAUMA INFORMED VOICEWORK FOUNDATIONAL FACILITATION TRAINING 2026

Participation is for professionals who have already trained in a therapeutic modality, such as movement, psychotherapy, music therapy and somatic experiencing, people with a wide range of professional therapeutic backgrounds who wish to include voice work in their current work. The intention of this training to support the participant to deepen their connection to their own voice, and build their confidence in leading voice related work. The training will be deeply experiential as well as skills based. The training is to empower you to hold a safe, trauma informed and somatically aware space for working with voice. As part of this, the basis of this work is to be able to journey deeply with your own voice and emotions, so that you have the ground to meet and hold what can get catalysed with voicework.

Creating a held and safe space for people to experience the power and beauty of their voice requires a deep connection with your own voice, and an ability to meet your own voice and therefore the voice of others with unequivocal welcome, compassion and encouragement. This type of work requires both curiosity, deep listening, a sense of humour and play, as well as an ability to be alongside people as a regulating presence as often fear, shame and oppression are present in this gentle opening of ones own power through sound. This training is set up to create an environment of safety, exploration, and a sense of play with titrated approach to meeting the broad emotional landscapes connected to working with voice. This way of connecting and supporting the authentic voice also opens the possibility of a greater sense of freedom, wellbeing and creativity, to name a few of the wonderful effects of voicework, for integrating into one to one client practice and group work.
