Your Wild Voice: Vocal Retreat with Yasia

An invitation to join me and a team of assistants to meet Your Wild Voice. A Summer time Vocal Retreat in the Czech Republic. 

Finding more freedom with your voice, with the support of movement, elements and your magnificent Heart. Support your voice to open and release in a supportive environment. Learn some simple techniques to allow your voice to flow and develop more power and resonance. Explore the ways that the Natural world can support your voice to open and deepen your ability to express. Spend time in Nature, listening to what Nature has to teach you. Learn to listen for a song. A blend of somatic voicework, movement and time in nature.

We will work with Somatic voice practises developed by Yasia over the past 20 years, trauma informed approach to voice, with movement, touch and Movement Medicine®

Space to let go, release and rest into the strong holding of the practices and the land. Water the source of your Voice, develop more resilience and strength in these strong and challenging times. 

This is also the prerequisite for future Voice Training for qualified professionals who wish to bring voice into their therapeutic work, should you want to learn to use this work professionally. Working both inside and outside on the beautiful land of Skalka in the Czech Republic. There will be space in the evenings for community time together around the fire, as well as time to rest. 

This circle will be prioritized for people who have done some voicework with Yasia already, though there will be some spaces for those newer to this work.

(1.5 HOUR NORTH OF PRAGUE minibus organised or shared taxis, depending on  numbers, from Prague and airport)

ACCOMODATION: Shared accommodation 2-3 people per room max, good simple vegetarian or vegan food (depending on your choice) or camping available with outside shower (bring own bedding).  Single rooms in very short supply, first come first serve - add a minimum of €60 supplement for single room.

Logistics:

Travel:

Prague is the nearest Airport and Main train station.

Mini bus cost for collection from Prague and dropping back to Prague in current prices (depending on how many people are on the mini bus is aprox €50-60 return with 15 people)

Taxi from central Prague or Prague Airport (use Bolt taxi app) is aprox €80 one way (2026 prices) more expensive from Skalka back to Prague - around €120 but can be shared to reduce price.

Arrival day: 

3rd August arrive any time from 2pm

First session at 5pm

Departure day:

8th August completion by 12.30pm, minibus will be arranged depending on numbers leaves at 2pm to Prague, can drop off at central train station and airport

Accommodation:

Shared rooming between 2-3 people, single rooms in very short supply, first come first serve - add a minimum of €60 supplement for single room.

Camping is also possible

Simple Vegetarian or vegan meals, gluten free is also possible.

Cancellation Policies:

Tuition fee cancellation policies (see accommodation policy below also)

Cancellation by January 1st 2027 - you will be refunded minus a €300 cancellation fee

Cancellation after January 1st 2027 your fee is non is non refundable and non transferable.

Venue/ accommodation cancellation:

If you are unable to attend a module due to illness or family emergency, the venue needs 7 days notice or more and can allow for up to 2 people to cancel if needed, with 7 days notice. If more than 2 people cancel (v unlikely!) unfortunately those extra cancellations will still have to cover the full fee as the venue cannot handle more than 2 cancellations per module. Lastly if you cancel with less than 7 full days notice you will still be liable for the full food and accommodation fee. The teaching fee is non refundable.

Contract:

I have read the terms and conditions of both the venue and the tuition cancellation policies

I am responsible for my own health and wellbeing, during the retreat

I will pay in full for the course tuition, food and accommodation on the dates as laid out in the enclosed Payment Schedule. Or as agreed between Yasia and myself.

I will pay in full for the course even if I cannot complete it for whatever reason and I accept the policy as laid out in the Payment Schedule and outlined in the above cancellations terms and conditions.

I am responsible for my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, and I actively take and hold this responsibility during the retreat.

I understand that, because of the nature of this work, which can

be challenging as well as supportive, I am likely to come up against my edges

and at times this may be uncomfortable or difficult. I agree to equip myself with the appropriate resources (i.e. help) should I need it to support myself on my journey, so that I can, to the best of my ability, take everything that arises as an opportunity to learn and grow.

I agree not to take unprescribed drugs, or drink alcohol during modules.

I agree to maintain confidentiality. While I can share my own experience of my process I will not divulge any personal information about other group members or staff.

I agree to treat myself, other participants, staff and the staff of Skalka with respect.

I agree to not be in the group space if I have cold / flu symptoms. I can rest in my accommodation until the symptoms subside

Force Majeure: Should world events stop us the teachers from being able to deliver this retreat, we will of course refund the tuition fees for the retreat.
